Environmental Importance Of Surface, Miniaturization And Other Critical Issues On Wind Power Turbines Production And Use

Wind turbines present a series of failures or spurious behaviors that tend to decrease its useful life, what can derail a project or even a full wind farm. Considering the enormous potential and wind capacity installed in the country, it is vital to establish the main problems (issues) affecting such equipment, which generally depends on physical-chemical surface mechanisms properties on the deterioration on some parts of wind power generator. In addition to stablishing instruments to reduce such an occurrence mainly by using of impact of modern technologies, most of them based on miniaturization. The methodology made use of case study in 2 regions of the country and the evaluation based on PDCA cycle, adapted to the problem to be analyzed. The main defects and their consequences were listed, evaluated – in situ or in laboratory – and then the main forms of control suggested. It is evidenced, in this case, the importance of the use of common production techniques and technologies in the area of microelectronics and responsible for miniaturization evidenced in several productive areas. It is important to note that these occurrences generate a critical situation: such failure when in operation (wind turbine) impacts in high costs related to logistics, component and material losses due to the short circuit; these materials are often unusable; in addition, costs related to the interruption of power generation, associated with low credibility and confidence of the product produce onerous (social and economic) consequences in the Market.
